Sunny with a chance of Sun
Well guess what? It is ALMOST Christmas! Isn't that kinda insane? I mean it almost seems like this year just began. I am so happy to be down in Southern Utah during the Holidays though. This place seems to be abundant with; Family, Sun, and some more Sun!
That is one thing about Coeur D' Alene, there is NO sun during the fall/winter season. The clouds come in and settle in for a nice stay. Then on top of that, the area experiences an inversion from the lakes. Snow piles up and a winter wonderland is created, and you can enjoy it (and handle it) until New Years, then you pray for it to melt. Everyone walks around doing a Sun Dance, a variation of a Rain Dance. Although, there are the weirdos that seem to enjoy the long months of snow. Diamond Valley got a big snow storm recently and a good 4 inches of snow blanketed the ground for up to a week. Then like a heaven sent miracle... the clouds parted and the sun emerged with glorious rays that seemed to penetrate the snow with incredible force. Soon the snow was gone... and the temps started hitting the mid 50's... and life was wonderful. It looks like it is going to be a Yellow Christmas this year (and I don't mean yellow snow) I am talking 100% genuine, luxurious, glorious, heart-warming, healthy, fantastic, SUN!

"When You Give a Moose a Muffin!"
My Mom and I tended Ty and Sloan's kids last night, and this morning my Mom had a cool breakfast planned. She had bought the book, "When You Give a Moose a Muffin" and decided to make the boys muffins and then read the book to them. She also got them some "Moose" antlers. Needless to say the boys LOVED it. The story is pretty funny. I remember reading it in Elementary School. The moral of the story is "If you give a moose a muffin, he'll just want more!". Although if you ask Boden he will say, "If you give a moose a muffin, he will throw up!"

Whistlin'' Dixie!
Well it has now been a couple weeks since I moved down to St. George! So far it has been GREAT! I am loving seeing the sun almost every single day. A rarity in North Idaho during the fall and winter months. I was supposed to transfer from my TJ Maxx store down to the one in St. George. Although, it appears that I am not wanted here. Every time I call or go in to speak with a manager they make up excuses and promise to call me back.... and never do. So I have started applying to different places and began a job hunt. I think its best to start doing something different for awhile. I had been at TJ's for a year and a half. I am living with Ty and Sloan, who graciously let me have one of their bedrooms in their new home. I love them mucho for that. It really is cool living in the same house as my Brother, Sister, Sister-in-Law, Nephews, and Niece. Its like having the advantages of being a Mexican family... without really being Mexican. I of course am joking!! HA! Tasha, Ty, and I were talking and it occurred to us that we would have never imagined that we would all be living in the same house in Diamond Valley again. It really is neat. That is the best thing about living down here. Family is always near by... and not 1500 miles away. Just the other day I got to go with Ty's family up to Pine Valley to get a Christmas Tree. It was a blast. It was a quick drive from Ty's house and then we were there. We went onto a couple of dirt roads and tried to keep an eye out for that perfect tree. Except when you live in Southern Utah juniper trees pop up everywhere. It was funny to listen to Ty and Sloan's conversation:
Sloan: "These aren't Christmas trees"
Ty: "What? Yeah they are. Look there are pine trees everywhere!"
Sloan: " Those aren't Christmas Trees.... those are Junipers"
Ty: "Pfft. Look at em'!"
Sloan: "They are not. Those are half and half. Half Juniper half Christmas Tree"
We eventually stopped and set out to search for the tree. We finally found one. Now the Christmas Tree/Juniper Tree sits proudly in their living room. Sloan was awesome and thought to bring a big thermos of Hot Chocolate to warm us as we drove home. Good Thinking if you ask me!! Mmmm Mmmmm Good!

Holidays are a commin'!
I know.... I know.... its been awhile. Again. I kinda get into a funk and can't think of anything to write. Although, I have plenty of stuff to talk about now.
Some big news is that I am now living back in St. George, Utah. I am living at Ty and Sloan's house were the graciously offered me a room. I am loving it so far. I think its great to have so many people around! My high school time and until now has just been my parents and me. Then my Dad started traveling a lot for work, and so the majority of time was my Mom and me. It is great to be down here by family for the holidays as well. I just can't believe it is almost Christmas... I mean Thanksgiving is TOMORROW! I am prettttty darn excited for potatoes and gravy.
Here are a couple of pictures from 1590 Photography:

"C'mon Lets Rock and Roll and Just Let Go! Feel the Rhythm of the Drum!"
Well Opening Night for High School Musical 2 has come and past! I am 5 shows into the run and things are going fantastic. It really has shaped up to be a really decent show. There are always the minor little details that don't work out. Opening night I had a major costume malfunction. At one section of the musical I have a costume that gets ripped off of me and I am left standing in my boxers and undershirt. Well... the costume is extremely hard to get on by myself because it splits in two. I had no one helping me and the costume split in two WAY to early. So I missed my entrance by 2 minutes. The on top of that... I couldn't get it done up so I walked on stage pretty much holding it up. It was falling off and my leg was sticking out of the side. Needless to say... it wasn't what we wanted. Although I feel I managed to keep character and ignore the situation and move through the next two scenes holding up my costume. The cast is really great and it has been fun so far. We have two weekends left. I am going to post some pictures.

Everyday Life
Coeur D' Alene has started its seasonal transition to winter already... Just because we really don't have a Fall up here. It seems like its either winter or summer.... mostly winter. It is getting colder and a wool blanket is needed at night. Especially in this freezing cold basement. I am really sad to see summer fade away, but at the same time I know this winter won't be bad. Thats because I will be heading down to St. George in the early weeks of November. I was planing on moving down in September... but then had the opportunity to be involved in High School Musical 2. I just couldn't pass that up. The show is coming together, slowly. We open in 13 days and we have finally started running through the whole show. I haven't been in a show during the fall or winter in about two years. So I have been able to avoid the cold and flu bugs that tend to plague casts during this time. That is, until now. I woke yesterday morning with a pounding headache and by afternoon felt fine for rehearsal. Then this morning I woke to horrible flu symptoms. I went into work... and began to get sicker and sicker. I was getting really dizzy every time I would walk or bend down to pick something up. I managed to finish what I was assigned to do, then asked to leave early. Apparently my manager had noticed that I wasn't feeling well because she said, "I was wondering when you would ask me to go home?" I actually think I may have swine flu. A couple of the people in the cast have had it... and the symptoms that I have match the H1N1 virus; soar throat, aching muscles and joints, headache, and then I sometimes feel like I can't take very big breaths. SOOOO.... I am praying I am better by my sunday rehearsal. I am just glad I am sick now and not on opening night.
I currently purchased the new Canon Rebel XSI, with help from my parents. Its really hard to save up money when you only make 7.50 an hour on part time work. Driving to spokane every day gives me a weekly gas bill of 60 bucks and my paychecks are only around 150 a week...
It really is an AWESOME camera. I haven't had much time to mess with it... work and rehearsal. I was planing on going downtown to get some shots today... but the sickness took over. Maybe tomorrow though, if I am better. Well here are some shots I have been able to take: Click and enlarge them to really see the detail and such.
